Background & approach

I'm a writer and researcher focused on AI governance, algorithmic accountability, and technology policy. My work explores how societies make decisions about powerful technologies — and whose voices shape those decisions.

Before moving into independent writing and research, I worked across civil society organizations and policy think tanks, advising on regulatory frameworks and contributing to public consultations at both national and international levels.

I write for general and specialist audiences alike. Whether drafting briefing papers for legislators or long-form essays for curious readers, I believe rigorous ideas don't require inaccessible language.
